GEORGE JOHNNIDES

OWNER & PRESIDENT OF BUILTMORE CONTRACTING

George’s passion for building began during his early adolescence, when his young ambition and hard-working nature led him to offering various carpentry services to whomever was interested and willing to hire. These early experiences led George to pursue a professional career in the construction field, and he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Building Construction Management from the University of North Florida in 2006.

With his strong work ethic and his remarkable attention to detail, George advanced rapidly early in his career, initially working for a developer, managing site development, large scale commercial building, and renovations and remodeling, including but not limited to new construction of HH Greg, Walgreen’s and Beall’s stores in Jacksonville, Florida.

In 2008, the South Florida native decided to return home to pursue estate remodeling/renovation in Coral Gables, Florida. George’s knowledge and experience expanded even further when he was called to Palm Beach County at the request of Conkling & Lewis Construction, Inc., to act as Project Manager for a multi-million dollar renovation of a historically landmarked building for the renowned Society of the Four Arts in Palm Beach, Florida.

George’s work has also included extensive renovations and build-outs for radiology departments within some of South Florida’s leading medical centers. These projects have included the building of specialized laboratory rooms, and MRI and PET/CT scanning rooms, which not only require the coordinating of construction efforts with the daily medical business of a hospital, but also responsibility for managing sanitary work environments and the safe moving and installation of delicate, complex medical equipment.

Now George has decided to pursue managing and running Builtmore fulltime where he can dedicate all his time & experience to providing quality services and transforming his clients dreams into reality.
